Why is it that every time the weekend comes around, I blink twice and its already Monday?! While it felt short, this weekend sure was sweet! Mother Nature really came in clutch this weekend, giving us some sunshine and dare I say temperatures in the 70s… love.
My boyfriend and I had a date night on Saturday, hitting one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Bucks County, La Stalla. We sat outside, enjoying the many drinks and food we ordered (no regrets lol). Since the weather was in our favor, I was able to wear a new Zara maxi dress that I have been dying to put on. If you are looking for a go to maxi for the summer, I seriously am obsessed with this one. A satin material with beautiful colors and a tie dye pattern- a bonus for adjustable straps. I wore this piece with my new Steven Madden platforms, or as my boyfriend calls the, the summer Dino Stompers. I love a good platform, as I feel as though it elongates your legs and provides some height if I am wearing longer dresses or pants. Plus, they are super comfortable and will definitely be a go to this summer.
I also finally got a haircut and color this weekend; getting a few inches taken off with some face framing layers. My hair has faded quite a bit since my last appointment, so I am so happy to see my dark brown hair again with some nice shine, just in time for graduation!
Speaking of graduation, I cannot believe that it is finally here! I will be heading down to my Alma Mater on Friday to celebrate my graduation (one year later) with all my classmates and friends. My school has been amazing with making sure the 2020 class is experiencing as many of the graduation traditions as possible- thanks Roanoke! I, of course, have had my dress and style inspo planned for months… I am so excited to show you guys the final fit 😉 I am still in the process of picking out my other outfits for the weekend, so stay tuned for that (follow my Instagram so you can stay in the loop with my hauls and try on reviews)!
We will be down in Virginia all weekend, spending time in both my college town and the local city, downtown Roanoke. I cannot wait to see my best friends, as I haven’t seen them since JULY! We have already made an agenda for all of the spots we need to hit during the weekend- our college bars of course being number one priority.
Definitely a lot in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned for all the updates on the blog. If you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to the the blog emails to stay updated with every post.
