Shirt jackets, better known as “shackets” have taken this fall by storm. These are great transition pieces, as they aren’t as heavy as the typical winter coat. Another reason why I like them is because there’s always a struggle with finding what I call a Goldie Locks coat: not too dressy, not too casual, but just right. While these jackets can be worn very casually, they can also be dressed up a bit for a night out.

I picked one up from Target (sadly out of stock online) and was so excited about it, I knew I needed to write a post all about shackets. I have scanned the interweb, finding my top shacket picks for the fall. You can catch me wearing one of my shackets all throughout this season. Style idea- these would look great with some distressed denim and chunky black booties.
