With Spring in full bloom, I am stoked to start putting together my spring closet. While staples in your closets are a must, some of these 2021 trends have me in LOVE! This spring’s trends are on point and I have definitely done my fair share of research to see what you should grab in the upcoming weeks.I decided to break these Spring trend posts down, starting with accessories.
TREND ALERT:
Expect to see a ton of color this spring. Color blocking, bright colored shoes, statement jewelry and more. Colors look to be bright, but not neon like previous years. With history repeating itself as always, a lot of accessories will be an ode to early 2000’s fashion, which I am so excited to see again! Alright lets get down to the details…
SANDALS
I’m not sure if I was in a phase last year but I have next to no sandals in my closet. I can assure you that was quickly fixed due to all of the amazing finds within the past month or two. Two styles I am loving are the strappy sandals with a small block heel and then some chunkier mule/sandal styles. Both have so many options for colors, whether you’re looking for more neutral pieces or bold colors to add a pop to your outfits. The thing I love most about these shoes is that you can find such good quality shoes at a reasonable price; double win! Sam Edelman is a great brand to check out, they have classic looks but also some more out there styles if you are looking to get adventurous with your footwear.
BAGS
Shoulder bags are back and better than ever. I love the idea of a small bag for night outs, instead of having to lug around a bulky crossbody or tote. I will say, I am my mother’s daughter and have quickly become obsessed with bags and tend to splurge more on them compared to other accessories. That being said, I bought/have my eyes on some designer bags below that are pretty reasonable for designer bags. Below are some that are on my radar:
COACH Pillow Tabby Bag
Literally have called this comeback for years now. They somehow managed to stick with the classic Coach look, but modernized it to stay with the trends. I splurged on the pink Pillow Tabby bag and am obsessed. Something about the look of it is just so spring to me and instantly adds the pop of color I need to my outfits. This bag comes with two strap options, one for on the shoulder and the other as a cross-body. Both are removable too which is another plus. I just looked and they did come out with a smaller version of the bag, so two sizes and price points are available.
JACQUEMUS Le Chiquito Moyen
Another splurge, but these bags have been on my mind at all times. I would never dish out the money for the micro/smaller versions of these bags, but something about the Le Chiquito Moyen bag is just so sleek. These bags can be dressed up or down, so very versatile which I love.
Telfar Shopping Bags
This brand is just cool. Everything about it. They only have one purse, but it comes in three different sizes and a ton of colors. All of the bags feature double straps (for cross-body and a top handle), with their logo featured in the front. Looks like everyone loves these bags as well because they are sold out all over their site… will have to check back at another time sigh
RINGS
Last but not least, some SP2021 jewelry trends. I am so happy to see everybody spicing up their accessory game with pops of color and layering. Starting off strong we have, what I would say the biggest jewelry trend at the moment, rings.
Basically if you don’t have more than half of your fingers with rings on them, you need to step up your game. LOL but really I have seen so many influencers and fashion pages have stacks on stacks of rings. In particular, the big colorful plastic and acrylic looking rings are back in… total 2000’s moment. You can get these anywhere like Amazon and Etsy. My favorite rings I have gotten are from Mon Cher Moi. They restock every Friday and sell out within minutes, so you need to be ready to buy ASAP. I have two of these rings and they are amazing quality- I will say each ring only has one size per style so be mindful of that!
Another jewelry company that I love is Greta Louise. I know Greta personally and can say that all her jewelry is amazing quality and super affordable. I have purchased a ton of pieces from Greta, with my favorite so far being her Valarie ring.
